Intelligent and succinct overview of Weston's times in LA and their influence on his work. The majority of the images are reproduced in thumbnail size so it isn't a terribly satisfactory read from the visual point of view. I read it in a reserve book room so this was not an option for me, but if you have the chance to read it with a better collection of his photography at hand you might get more out of it.
