You'll pry my books off my cold, dead body. By the time you shift them all I'll be flat and dessicated.
I preferred the secondary romance of Mallory, a smart and tough girl with an undeserved bad reputation, and geeky but sincere comic-book artist David. While a little disappointed that they immediately jumped into bed the minute they realized their feelings for one another they were interesting and well developed characters who had a more mature relationship than the protagonists Tom and Kelly. Mal and David made me think that Brockmann could write a YA romance that I wouldn't roll my eyes at.
