Allusion is not Illusion

You'll pry my books off my cold, dead body. By the time you shift them all I'll be flat and dessicated.

Tinder Box - Nicholas Stuart Gray This adaptation for stage of "The Tinder Box" story features typical Gray characters: enchanted cats, a poor but honest lad, a princess, a silly but evil witch, some guards and nobles. Peter, the soldier, is kind and honest (more so than in many versions of this story) and naive rather than stupid. Princess Gisella doesn't get a lot of stage time for character development, as per usual. And also as usual, the animals steal the show.
