After years of keeping her head down and staying out of trouble, mechanic and shapeshifter Mercy is increasingly drawn into the dangerous affairs of werewolves and vampires, and now, in this third installment, the fae. Several fae on a reservation have been mysteriously murdered, and Mercy's mentor Zee wants her to sniff for clues. But the fae don't want outsiders prying into their magical world... and then there's the murderer to watch out for...Entertaining, but I felt that the pace was a bit off in this one, especially with the mystery aspect. Too much was crammed into the last fourth, making it a bit hectic. However, Mercy is likable as always, and I appreciated that Briggs follows her growing relationships with friends et al instead of concentrating solely on her potential love interests.
